To keep the pool in tip top shape for your stay and our future guests we request you take care of it like it was your own (it is kinda, for the week, right)?
Please SHOWER or RINSE OFF prior to using. Sand from the beach clog up the filter and make it harder to maintain.
If the pool starts to get low the filter won't be able to work. You can tell the right level if the top step of the entry/hot tub section is covered by ~1/2 inch to 1 inch. If it's not, please fill it from the hose reel hanging next to the outdoor wet bar.
If there is a heavy rain overnight it is important to remove the standing water to keep the cover operating properly (and prevent damage) as well as to maintain water quality.
This video will show you how to simply sump pump the standing water off of the cover so you can get back to enjoying the pool!
Once you're done and prepared to open the cover, please ensure that the cover is retracting evenly. If it looks "skewed" please do not continue opening, but rather close it up a bit and try again. If you operate the cover while it's not aligned it can break. Please also be sure to not hold the button for opening or closing beyond the end of the pool which can damage the motor as well.
The pool should stay closed at all times when you're not using it. This is for safety and to maintain consistent pool water quality (the ocean winds carry a lot of sand and debris).
OPENING THE POOL: To open the cover you'll open the cover control and enter the code 1433. Depress the uncover button until the cover is MOSTLY retracted. It will tuck away under the coping but if depressed too long you can snap the rope system damaging the cover. Inch it along until it's JUST under the coping.
If the cover looks to be askew while opening (or closing), please reverse the operation to realign. Do NOT FORCE the cover to continue while uneven as this could break the cover.
CLOSING THE POOL: To re-cover the pool re-enter the code and press "cover" until it is closed and release your finger just as it approaches the end (don't overrun the motor past the point of full open or closed).
Before you use the hot tub, you need to put the divider in. It's kept in a sleeve outside the pool deck shower. This video will show you how to remove the divider and insert it into the pool for conversion. Please do not run the hot tub without the divider in or you won't get an actual hot tub. Move on to Step 2 to activate the hot tub.
How to turn the hot tub on
Turn on the iPad (passcode 0143) and click the Screenlogic App to login "local"
Once you're in the app click the "Spa" bar to turn green (this will activate the jets & turn on the heater)
You can use the dial to adjust to your desired temperature
(Optional) click the lighting sub-tab for different lighting options
Do not set the pool temperature above 85 degrees to prevent equipment damage (Hot tub temperature is maximum 104 degrees).
In the Home tab, simply press the "SPA" button again to turn it grey & the pool will resume it's original schedule
IMPORTANT - Remove hot-tub divider if you wish to use just as a pool (otherwise filtration will not function properly)
DO NOT RAISE THE RPM FOR THE SPA ABOVE 3300 OR THE PUMP COULD EXPLODE AND DRAIN THE POOL
